A total of four (!) NLD lab members were able to secure research funds for NLD initiatives through a college-wide competition. Qinxin Shi (far left), who also won a travel award, will use funds to investigate the role of anxiety in externalizing problem behaviors. Siqi ‘Lucy’ Chen and Yajun ‘Mia’ Jia (middle left and right, respectively) will invest in wearable devices that are able to measure sleep quality and well-being in adolescents. Brenna Lin (far right) will purchase a biofeedback device that may reduce stress in college students. Big thanks to CEHD for providing the opportunity. Expect some nifty research posters on the walls of Harrington in a couple of months!
