Polysomnograph System
This state-of-the-art cart-based Polysomnograph by Compumedics is housed at the Center for Translational Research in Aging and Longevity (CTRAL) and is able to measure a host of physiological parameters while participants are asleep. Some of the measurements include:
- EEG indices to determine neural sleep architecture
- Oculography for eye movement
- Breathing indices (e.g., respiration bands, nasal cannula)
- Cardiovascular measures (e.g., Oximeter, heart rate)
- Electromyography sensors for legs and chin
- Tracheal microphone
