Congratulations to Dr. Chen (โ€˜Lucyโ€™) and Dr. Jia(โ€˜Miaโ€™) on having a new paper accepted! The paper was accepted in Brain Topography, and the study investigated the neurocognitive processes that may help explain how unhealthy eating habits form and maintained in obese adolescents. The study is one of the few examining neural correlates of attentional control in obese adolescents, and it suggests that automatic attentional bias to food is an important factor to consider in addressing the obesity crisis.
